I wanted to recommend a book that is coming out in a month. May 1st the first book in the Just Breathe trilogy will be released on Amazon and Barnes and Noble and other sources I'm guessing. I don't do a lot of book recommendations, and I keep wanting to do more, but I always end up researching weapons instead. But here is one today. Add it to your wishlists or whatever you have (To-Read List on Goodreads) and enjoy!
Inhale by Kendall Grey

I’m floored. I am not a big fan of romances but I am really getting into urban fantasies. This book was more than I expected it to be, and believe it or not, I had high expectations. That said, no book is for everyone, and Inhale was not my usual taste, but I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It flowed smoothly, was written very beautifully and it was obviously edited professionally. This book isn’t just a well put together novel by an Indie writer; it was well put together for a traditionally published novel. If you’ve read my reviews in the past, I don’t knock the rating down for editing, but I’ll always point it out. I had no complaints whatsoever with the editing in Inhale.
What’s it about? Elemental factions war against each other behind the real world where we everyday folks just go on living our lives without ever knowing. This makes a great mysterious setting as the main character, Zoe is just an everyday person tagging whales when she is tossed into this world behind the world and trapped in a century’s long war. It’s emotional, passionate and violent. Its war and love all rolled into one book. Can Zoe figure out what’s going on and get back to her life? Can she save the world and stop the fire elementals from destroying the minds of millions of humans? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
I try to avoid writing spoilers into my reviews so I won’t go into all the things in the plot that really fired me up, pun intended. There are two sex scenes that get pretty heavy, for those looking for that, and the action sequences are well written and not confusing at all. The dialogue is excellent, and the scenes all have a purpose that furthers the plot. The book is not super short, but there is no lull in the story. I just can’t praise this book enough and I’m impatiently waiting to buy it and its sequels.
A couple pointers for those who do not enjoy R rated material, this book contains a couple of graphic intimate situations and some language. I don’t feel personally that any of that was overdone in the novel and they added good color to the story. There wasn’t really any gore either, so if you have a weak stomach, you’re safe.
If those kinds of things don’t bother you then you will probably love Inhale. It’s the first book in a trilogy and will be available May 1st on Amazon and other sources. I’ve even heard you can order the paperback through Barnes and Noble. The sequels are supposed to be released over this summer as well, so there won’t be a huge wait long to get the whole set.
I read an advanced copy of Inhale for this review. I was also informed the profits from these novels will be donated to saving the whales, so not only do you get entertained, you are helping a special cause.
