Book Recommendation: Wildflowers Come Back

I've chatted with Sarah on her blog and on Twitter and she is one of the most entertaining people to joke around with on the web (She even likes the NFL). When I picked up a copy of her book I expected some of the snarkiness that she usually shares and I then I expected a romance. I don't really know why I thought that, but I figured if her writing was anywhere near as good as her wit, then I could handle some romance. I was blown away. The writing was everything I expected and more. And it really isn't a romance either!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but I had a feeling I'd be quite entertained. As someone who follows Sarah on Twitter, her witty tweets set my expectations high and I have to say, this book didn't disappoint. I wasn't expecting a paranormal but I caught on by chapter 4 that something wasn't right about the girl talking to Lyss. I was expecting some kind of romance and the book toys around with romance but veers away often to dive into the suspense of serial killers, mysteries and ghosts. The writing was so well done in this book that I have to say by the end of it, I wouldn't have cared what it was about because I loved it. I believe that Sarah Spann is one who will eventually join the ranks of the more reliable Indie Writers that you can count on not only a professional appearance, but excellent editing. This book would get five stars for the story and an additional star if I could for the professionalism that made the book read easy and comfortably.
